If flat bars are awesome for DH they would have been popular a long time ago. Flat bars are for riders with that mid 90s Classic Hardtail (2inch travel fork) cross country bike that they just can't part with.

Thanks. I don't think they were able to keep up with production at the time. When I ordered it, it took forever to come in. It was definitely worth it!
